The goal of phpQ was to allow you to design your survey to look any way you wish. To do this, we have offered a couple of options on the way your answers can appear. You can also customize the Question Text Style, Answer Text Style and Text Input Style.

Answer Input Style - In this field you may enter any CSS style definition that you wish to have applied to all table cells surrounding input elements within this question. An input element is a radio button, checkbox, textfield, text area, select box or multiple select box. You can use this to apply background colors, set padding or any other CSS property that applies.

The style definitions will be placed inside of the <TD> that surrounds each answer input. You will also be able to override survey-wide defaults for Answer Input Style within each question setup. To customize the actual input elements (as opposed to the table cells surrounding them) you should look into the Answer Text Style and Text Input Style options shown above.
